Floribama Shore, Real Housewives of New York and Orange County, The Challenge: Final Reckoning, and we’re finally on the last season of New Girl!

In the last month, we finished the window in the girls’ room, re-rocked our entire driveway, added rock all the way down the side of our house, finished a coffee table upcycle (post coming soon), started a new farmhouse style sign, and are still working on the walkway. It’s been a good and solid month of progress and it feels so good!
About opening my bubble. This past weekend, my best friend and I spent the day in Detroit checking out the Star Wars exhibit at the DIA as well as eating some delicious food at HopCat. It got me thinking about how I need to start exploring what’s around me a little more. The last ten years of my life have been so sheltered. I need new experiences!
Two upcoming trips! In two weeks, we’ll be heading up north to visit my family. Near the end of August, Chris and I are planning a nice kid-free getaway to Niagara falls. I’m SO excited! Chris is peeping this go-kart track.
