Over the last year, I’ve become such a huge fan of Esqido. I’ve been lucky enough to try out their mink lashes, Unisyn collection lashes, and lash glue. I was always so nervous about fake lashes, but now I can’t wait for the next time when I get to wear them out.
Just recently, I learned that Esqido has branched out and created their own eyeliner. I could not wait to get my hands on it! Check out my thoughts below (and scroll to the very bottom for a 10% off discount code).
Esqido sent me their new gel eyeliner in two colours – black and brown. Don’t think I didn’t appreciate that pink packing paper!
What I liked
The formula for this eyeliner is perfect. It was easy to apply and felt really sturdy upon application. The claim is that this eyeliner is waterproof and honestly, it didn’t budge even with some gentle rubbing (see photos below). Both colours are highly pigmented and last for hours.
The best part of this eyeliner is how functional and thoughtful the packaging is. As you can see above, the product comes in a twist dispenser to make it easy to reach more product. Even more amazing is that the bottom of the dispenser pulls off to reveal a sharpener. This is so much more useful than I ever could have imagined – I use it all the time!
What I didn’t like
I do find it difficult to get a super thin line with this liner. The sharpener gets clogged with the gel formula very easily and doesn’t sharpen to a fine tip. It’s manageable, but a bit of an annoyance at times.
I have’t stopped using this liner since I got it. My right eye tends to tear up a lot and most liquid eyeliners come right off (even the waterproof ones!). This product lasts significantly longer and feels more flexible than any other eyeliners I’ve tried.
Right now, this eyeliner is only $12 (regular $16)! Combined with my discount code below it’s cheaper than many drugstores brands.
The eyeliner is even available here on Amazon.
