It’s been a while since I’ve shared an empties post, but this time I’ve got some good product finds! There were no products I hated in this bunch, but a few I absolutely loved.
Here are 5 of my most recent empties.
Review Key: Horrible, Not Good, Just OK, Good, Great, Amazing
1. Febreze Air Effects with Gain: Good
I don’t normally buy Febreze simply because I find it doesn’t stay in the air. I remember purchasing this with a coupon and being pleasantly surprised. The smell of Gain laundry detergent is amazing, and this smells exactly like it. If I ever buy Febreze air effects again, it will be this scent.
2. Mystic Divine Nourishing Masque: Great
This masque was recommended to me by a Sally Beauty employee, and I’m happy I tried it. It smells amazing, is very thick, and sells for a great price. I didn’t see a huge change in my hair, but it’s still a masque I would use again.
3. CoverGirl Supersizer by Lashblast Mascara: Just OK
I didn’t find anything special in this mascara. I like the brush, the formula was alright, but there are far better mascaras.
4. Bare Minerals Face Powder in Warmth: Great
I remember receiving this in a Bare Minerals starter kit 10 years ago and I’ve been using it ever since. The colour is lovely, it’s completely matte, and it wears extremely well. I’m a huge fan of Bare Minerals products because they seem to keep my acne at bay.
5. Nair Nourish Creme: Not Good
I had high hopes for this product, but the main flaw for me is how small the bottle is. I barely got 2 uses and found that my hair wasn’t completely removed after keeping the product on for the maximum amount of time. The only positive thing about this product is that it feels better on the skin than other types of Nair.
