Fall is finally here! It’s time to let go of Summer (the longest summer of my life, I swear!) and move on to chilly nights, pumpkin spice everything, and crunchy leaves. This is easily my favourite season, but I always notice that between the sun and pool days all summer, my hair needs some extra TLC.
Here’s how I’m dealing with the damage to achieve Fall hair goals.
I’m a huge sucker for hair accessories and always have been (headbands never ever went out of style for me), hence why I got so excited when Scunci and Finesse sent over a hair care package full of amazing products for me to try.
It’s been many years since I used Finesse shampoo and conditioner, but I was surprised at how much I love the Hydration + Softness line, especially the conditioner. My hair is very long and extremely thick (I cut it myself!), so anything with extra hydration works really well for me. Beyond smelling great, I also noticed that both the shampoo and conditioner felt very light. For under $4, I’m sold.
I always go heat-free for Fall.
When the Summer humidity finally subsides, there’s just no reason for me to use my flat iron. I try and go completely natural for a few months and adding accessories helps hide imperfections.
I’m absolutely obsessed with each individual item from Scunci. Headbands have always been my go to accessory, but big and soft scrunchies come in at a close second. The biggest surprise for me was the active headwrap. I have trouble keeping my hair out of my face during yoga and this wrap doesn’t budge at all. You can find Scunci products at Walmart from $5.
