Now that we’ve had time to come down off the high of Christmas, we’ve been able to make use of all of our cool new gifts. This year I think that not only did Chris and I do an amazing job buying for each other, our parents also killed it. Here are 6 of my favourite gifts from the past year:
1. Toastmaster Air Fryer
2. Delta In2ition Two-In-One Shower Head
3. Amazon Fire Stick
4. RCA Viking Pro 10″ 2-in-1 tablet with detachable keyboard
I bought this tablet for Chris so he would stop stealing my MacBook to watch Game of Thrones. We’ve had our fair share of tablets over the years, but these totally affordable RCA ones impress me every time. They run Kodi very well, are fast, and have a great battery life. The HDMI port is what sold me – many tablets don’t offer one, but having this port makes it so easy to treat the tablet as an Android box without all the hassle.
5. Dart Board
We had been wanting to put a dart board in our rec room for a while, and now we finally have one! We slapped some cork up on our wall and now Chris is obsessed.
6. Folding Table
For the last 8 years, we’ve been borrowing Chris’ parents folding tables for every holiday, get together, and birthday party. This year for Christmas, his parents decided to get us our own. You know you’re an adult when you get excited about receiving a table for Christmas, right?
I must say that if I had to pick only one, the Air Fryer is my favourite! What were your favourite gifts from Christmas 2017? Stay tuned because my next post will feature the best gifts our children received!
