I’m finally getting around to sharing the rest of our wedding, and I’m so excited. In this post, I discussed my hunt for a dress, and now I’m sharing my wedding gown and accessories as well as everything our bridal party wore.
Check out our pink and rose gold wedding accessories below!
My dress is by Venus Bridal, Style W8696. The total cost was $1,150 CAD, all alterations included.
At first, the organza and lace caught my eye, but the built in beaded belt was a huge selling point for me. Beaded belts can cost upwards of $200 on top of the cost of the dress, so this was a total bonus.
My shoes are straight from Amazon (US link | Canadian link), and only cost $50 CAD.
Although I returned the shoes once in order to find the perfect size, it was well worth it. I purchased the shoes in white and dyed them pink myself using Rit Dye in Petal Pink.
As for my accessories… My something old and something borrowed – my mother-in-law’s pearls and my great grandmother’s handkerchief. My something new was my dress, and something blue was a small clip in my hair.
The best dresses belong to my girls!
I was totally against spending $300+ on their dresses. Beyond that, I had a lot of trouble finding dresses that blended with our bridesmaid dresses, as they all seemed to come in white.
First of all, I took a total chance on these dresses. Without ever having seen them in person, I ordered Speechless Embellished Maxi Dresses from Macy’s (similar dresses here). They were absolutely perfect. Not only did the dresses fit the girls perfectly, the colour was an identical match to the bridesmaids dresses!
Their adorable tiara’s were purchased at Claire’s and the white satin heels were only $5 on clearance at Walmart. Such a lucky find!
For the bridesmaids, I decided on different dresses in the same colour.
Overall, my besties and sister got to find which style worked for them and it turned our incredibly well. Also, they had free reign on their hair, makeup, jewellery, and shoes.
All of the dresses are Alfred Angelo, various styles, in “Ballerina”.
Now, on to the men.
My husband and our amazing groomsmen picked up on the pink in their ties and pocket squares. All of the suits and accessories were purchased at Freeds in Windsor, Ontario.
Last but not least, our little man got to wear his own special tux. I got the best deal on his outfit.
The tuxedo was purchased at Sears and came with the pants, jacket, and white dress shirt for only $50. In addition, his adorable pink tie from was purchased from Amazon for $13 and the shoes were purchased at Walmart for $15.
I’m still so happy with our pink and rose gold wedding accessories and theme!
