I was lucky enough to be asked to make this amazing pride wedding cake. I had so much fun incorporating rainbow colours into a simple wedding cake, and it turned out absolutely perfect.
Check out this super simple rainbow wedding cake!
We decided against a layered rainbow cake and did something more fun – marbling the batter.
I separated the batter and used gel colouring to create 5 vibrant colours. I then gently marbled them together in the pan and baked. It turned out perfectly!
We decided to do this on all 3 tiers and leave the outside white – this way cutting into the cake would be dramatic and beautiful.
To tie in the rainbow on the inside of this cake, we decided to add a small rainbow ribbon to the bottom of each tier. I found the perfect rainbow ribbon and used my hot glue gun to create 3 small bows.
The rainbow ribbon really popped!
