It’s that time of year! Christmas is just over a month away and I’m slowly seeing people put up their holiday decor. Our Canadian thanksgiving was back near the beginning of October, so when Halloween passed, our tree went right up. Along with December, I like to milk all of November for holiday decor – it’s just who I am.
Included in my regular decor, I have frames that allow me to switch out prints for every holiday. Typically, I’ll search the web and see what I can find, but this year I decided to make my own prints.
I have always found that Mother’s and Father’s Days are the “holidays” that tend to be forgotten about until the very last minute. With Mother’s Day being so close to Easter, it becomes a non-priority for many of us. Father’s day, on the other hand, lands very close to summer and gets lost in the mix of planning parties and wrapping up the school year.
