Since becoming a parent, I’ve found that one of the biggest expenses associated with having children is their wardrobe. Unlike most adults, our children change sizes every year (if not more often). Beyond this, they’re incredibly rough on clothes, leaving holes and stains galore – I’m talking to you boy moms!

Decorating for the Holidays might be in my top 10 favourite things-to-do of all time. Transforming my home into a mini Winter wonderland brings me so much joy, and I know that many people feel the same way. There are so many cute items out there, but I’ve always been partial to candy and gingerbread themed decor.

A few weeks ago, I began noticing a shift in the advertising of my favourite stores. The front pages of their websites as well as the emails and commercials I was seeing were promoting new Spring collections. As much as I love seeing the bright colours and pretty dresses, I won’t be doing my Spring shopping anytime soon. Why? Because I did that last Fall.
It’s spring, and you should be shopping for Fall and Winter clothes now.
